Information About Us
This website is a site operated by Commercial Law Development Services Ltd. (“We”). We are registered in Nigeria under company number RC624456 and have our office at No.5b Lawani Oduloye Street, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Terms of Sale
Please read through the following Terms and Conditions of Sale and Purchase (“Terms”) carefully. They comprise the terms on which you are permitted to purchase items from Commercial Law Development Services Ltd. (“CLDS”, “us”, or “we”) on this website (the “Website”).
If you submit an order for any item advertised for sale on this website, this shall be taken to constitute acceptance by you of these Terms:
1. Purchase of Products
To purchase any item available for sale on this website (the “Product”), you must complete and submit our order form. Please note that your order will only be accepted if full payment is available at the time of acceptance.
Upon accepting your order, we will send you an email confirmation (the “Confirmation”), and the items you have ordered (the “Product”) will be supplied in accordance with the Confirmation and the terms outlined herein.
The sale and purchase of Products through this website are governed by a contract between you and us, which is formed when we accept your order and send you the Confirmation (the “Contract”). Once your order is confirmed, it is processed within our electronic system, and we will be unable to prevent the dispatch of the items.
By entering into this Contract, you agree that you are not relying on any statement, representation, warranty, or understanding (whether made negligently or innocently) by any person (whether a party to the Contract or not) that is not explicitly included or referenced in the Contract. This does not limit or exclude liability for any fraudulent activity on our part.
Please be aware that:
(a) All information and specifications related to the Products, as well as any material we produce, are approximate and subject to change.
(b) The colour of items displayed on this website may differ (shade of colour may be lighter or darker) from the actual Products delivered under any Contract.
We reserve the right to correct any errors in unconfirmed orders, sales literature, or other documents or information issued by us or displayed on this website without incurring liability.
Furthermore, we may make changes to the specifications of the Products to comply with applicable safety or statutory requirements, provided such changes do not materially affect the quality or performance of the Products.
2. Returns and Cancellations
You are entitled to cancel this contract from the date of our order confirmation until seven working days after you receive your order. For detailed instructions on how to return items or cancel your order, please refer to our Returns and Cancellations Policy.
Please be aware that if you have purchased an eBook from this website and successfully downloaded it, we regret that we cannot offer a refund for your purchase.
If you decide to return a product, you are responsible for the return shipping costs, using the same delivery method originally used. The products will be returned at your own risk. Please note that you cannot cancel the order if the products you wish to return include audio, video, or computer software that has been unsealed from its original packaging.
If you are dissatisfied with any product purchased from our website, you may return it in its original condition within seven working days. To initiate a return, please follow the instructions outlined in our Returns and Cancellations Policy. Refunds will be issued for the actual price paid for the product and, unless otherwise specified, will not include reimbursement for postage, packaging, or similar charges. To clarify, if you purchased a product at a discounted price, the refund will be for the amount you paid after the discount.
3. Pricing
The price of each product will be the recommended retail price listed on our website on the date you place your order, except in the case of inadvertent pricing errors, whether technical or otherwise. If a product is offered at a promotional or discounted price on the website, the promotional or discounted price will apply.
When multiple discounts are available (such as through promotional offers or personal discounts), only one discount can be applied to each product. The website will automatically apply the highest available discount, provided that you correctly enter all applicable discount codes during the checkout process.
The price of any product does not include the cost of postage, packaging, and delivery. These additional charges will be specified on our website and will be your responsibility. The cost of delivery to the address specified in your order form, which we will confirm, will also be your responsibility.
The prices listed for our products do not include any applicable Value Added Tax (VAT).
We reserve the right to adjust the prices of any items on this website without prior notice. Additionally, we reserve the right to decline to supply products to you, whether you are an individual or a company, for any reason at our discretion.
4. Risk and Transfer of Ownership
The risk of damage or loss of the Products will transfer to you upon delivery. If you fail to accept delivery, the risk will pass at the point when delivery was attempted. Ownership of the Products will also transfer to you upon delivery, or at the moment when delivery was attempted but not accepted.
5. Product Withdrawal and Usage Guidelines
We reserve the right to withdraw any of our Products from the market without prior notice or liability to you. Should we provide guidance on the intended use of the Products and any conditions required for their safe application, you are obligated to follow such instructions to ensure proper and safe use.
6. CLDS-ng.com eBooks Licensing
CLDS-ng.com eBooks are distinctly watermarked with your email address, name, and the purchase date, both visibly and invisibly. While you may transfer your eBook to your personal devices, it is licensed solely for your use. The eBook must not be shared with third parties, uploaded to websites, or distributed via file-sharing networks.
7. Customs Charges
When purchasing goods for delivery outside of Nigeria, please be aware that your order may be subject to import duties and taxes. Customs policies differ across countries, and CLDS has no control over any additional charges that may apply. We strongly recommend that you check with the customs or postal office in the destination country to understand the applicable import charges before placing your order. You will be responsible for all customs formalities and any additional costs, including import duties, taxes, levies, and other related charges.

Good behaviour
How to get the best experience
1. Dive In: Your unique experiences, insights, and opinions matter. Whether positive or negative, sharing them in detail can help others. Don’t hold back—your story could be just what someone needs.
2. Offer Constructive Feedback: If something didn’t go well, explain what went wrong. Being specific not only helps others understand your perspective, but it also encourages businesses to take notice and improve.
3. Respectful Communication: We’re a diverse community with a range of views. Treating everyone with courtesy ensures that all voices can be heard and valued.
4. Show Appreciation: When you come across a helpful review or comment, acknowledge it with a thumbs-up. Positive reinforcement helps build a supportive community. On the other hand, if you see abusive content or material that violates these guidelines, report it via a “report inappropriate content” link or email info@clds-ng.com.
5. Stay Safe and Share Wisely: When using the public sections of our website, be cautious about the personal information you share. Certain features allow other users to view your public contributions and reviews, including those on your profile page. If you prefer more privacy, you have the option to post content anonymously.
How to Get on Our Naughty List:
Keep It Real: Please only post reviews based on your actual experiences and submit content that is accurate and honest.
No Faking It: Creating fake profiles to post content, whether to promote your own business or criticise another, is strictly forbidden. Misrepresenting yourself, claiming false credentials, or giving misleading advice may be illegal—check out “7. Keeping It Legal” below.
Be Respectful: This website is not a place for threats, personal attacks, or hate speech. We are a diverse community, so please be respectful of others’ beliefs and opinions.
Stay Clean: Please avoid profanity, vulgar comments, and explicit language or images. Also, refrain from typing in ALL CAPS—it’s unnecessary and unhelpful.
No Spam: Any blatant advertising in reviews, comments, or other content will be promptly removed. Posting links, contact information, or unrelated content for personal or financial gain is not allowed. Sending bulk messages or submitting unauthorised promotional content is also prohibited.
Play Fair: Our reputation system is designed to reward meaningful contributions. Creating multiple accounts, soliciting points, or posting irrelevant content to gain an advantage is considered cheating and will result in penalties.
Keep It Legal: To avoid legal issues, don’t:
- Post fake reviews or pay someone to post content that benefits your business
- Copy content without proper permission or attribution
- Scam others into sharing personal information
- Use copyrighted or trademarked material without authorisation
