Drafting and Presenting Written Addresses Training

Drafting and Presenting Effective Written Addresses

Master the Art of Persuasive Legal Writing and Advocacy

Written addresses are central to effective advocacy and, in many cases, decisive to the outcome of litigation. However, weak structure, lack of clarity, and ineffective presentation continue to undermine otherwise sound legal arguments.

Commercial Law Development Services (CLDS) is pleased to present an NBA-ICLE–accredited virtual training on Drafting and Presenting Effective Written Addresses, facilitated by Honourable Justice A.O. Obaseki-Adejumo, Justice of the Court of Appeal. This programme offers participants the rare opportunity to gain practical, judicial-level insight into what constitutes clear, persuasive, and effective written submissions before courts and tribunals.

Drawing directly from the Bench, the training will equip participants with the skills required to craft written addresses that are well-structured, legally sound, and compelling—while avoiding the common pitfalls that weaken advocacy.
